A Little About Karen & Brad

With a little under 40 years of knowledge and sewing experience under her belt, Karen can easily convert fabrics on a roll into a work of art.

With a Diploma in Fashion & Textile Design, Karen can work with fabrics that other curtain makers shy away from. Due to her extensive knowledge of textiles and their properties and perfomance (quirks) - She is a specialist in making Roman blinds, from velvets (no problem) and has turned used old fashioned checked wool blankets into Romans as well as the softest of sheers - where there’s a will there’s a way! She also has extensive knowledge in design, colour and form and is happy to share this knowledge with you during your consultation.

Karen’s Husband Brad has an extensive background in Marine Engineering, Real Estate and renovating. He is a great problem solver and is involved in the many (how are we going to make this work? situations). Brad has 7 years experience of tracks and blinds installation and is our “Shutter expert”.

Both Karen and Brad have a passion for renovating homes and have renovated 12 homes between them. They both have an eye for detail including the smaller aspects that are often missed by others to help you finish the last part of the renovation of your home……… the window treatments!

With a full range of experience and product options at their disposal there isn’t anything they can’t sort for your home.
